OUR LEADERSHIP
Leadership That Understands Your Journey
Starting a nursing career in the United States can feel uncertain when the people guiding you haven't made the transition themselves.
Some members of Ramidara’s leadership team began as internationally educated nurses, receiving their initial training abroad before advancing their education and careers in the U.S. healthcare system.
That firsthand experience gives our leadership a practical understanding of the professional, cultural, and personal adjustments behind a successful move into U.S. nursing, and it shapes how we guide and prepare every nurse.
We understand the journey because members of our team have walked it themselves.

THE RAM COMMUNITY
The RAM Community: Respect. Affection. Motivation.
Starting a new life and building a nursing career in the United States can bring challenges far beyond the workplace. Internationally educated nurses may face homesickness, cultural adjustment, financial stress, isolation, and the pressure of starting over while trying to succeed professionally.
The RAM Community was created to make that transition feel less isolating and more supported, offering connection, familiarity, encouragement, and a genuine sense of belonging beyond employment.
Success in the U.S. is about more than finding a job. It is about building a career, creating a life, and knowing there are people around you who want to see you succeed.

RAM stands for:
R
Respect & Recognition
Your experience, culture, and contribution are valued.
A
Affection
Genuine connection, empathy, and a sense of belonging.
M
Motivation for Success
Encouragement to grow professionally, financially, and personally.
The RAM Community may include:
Professional mentorship and career guidance
Peer support and cultural connection
Financial literacy and credit education
Wellness, stress-management, and decompression support
Community involvement and volunteering
Social activities that help nurses build friendships and feel at home
A LITTLE EXTRA
Nurse Jollof Assurance
Belonging can start with something simple: a familiar meal, a good laugh, and people who understand what it feels like to start over in a new country.
That spirit is part of the RAM Community. Ramidara’s COO is a serious Jollof rice enthusiast, so professional support may sometimes come with shared stories, laughter, cultural connection, and maybe a plate of Jollof.
We want nurses to feel supported not only as professionals but also as people, while they adjust to U.S. healthcare, build new relationships, and create a life they are proud to call home.
Come for the U.S. nursing opportunity. Stay for the support, the community, and maybe the Jollof.
Ghanaian Jollof? Nigerian Jollof? Gambian Jollof? Caribbean-inspired? Diaspora fusion? We may never settle the debate, but one thing is certain: There will always be room at the table for you.
